Baryta FB and Photo Rag® 500 gsm - two new papers in Hahnemühle´s Digital FineArt Collection (engl. Version)
In the 425th year of its existence, Hahnemühle FineArt adds two stunning new products to the innovative market for inkjet papers.
The traditionalists among the photographers will be delighted about the new archival photo paper Baryta FB. It was created at their request and represents a perfect addition to Hahnemühle's award-winning range of Baryta papers.
"With its name, structure and surface feel, the bright white paper with its extra smooth surface and glossy coating is reminiscent of the traditional FB (fibre based) Baryta paper," explains Bärbel Manggold, Hahnemühle's Product Manager FineArt papers. "And this impression is even increased by its high basis weight of 350 gsm." Just like traditional Baryta paperboard, Baryta FB meets the highest standards when it comes to picture quality and durability. The new Hahnemühle quality will be officially introduced at the Photo Plus Expo held in New York in late October.
Meanwhile, the Photo Rag® 460 gsm paper will be replaced by a Photo Rag® with a basis weight of 500 gramper square metre. The structure and the surface of the new product have been optimised and match the qualities of the coveted 'classic' among the Matt FineArt papers: the Photo Rag® in 308 gsm. The new quality is available in two formats:A 2 and 24 x 30 inch, both as 25-sheet packages.
