The natural white paper is ideal for drawing with pencil, charcoal, red ochre, wax crayons or pastels. The paper has a smooth appearance but nevertheless has a fine grain that ensures optimum colour adherence. The natural white colour allows good contrast and colour vibrancy of the sketches or pastel drawings. Artists who use the Hahnemühle sketch paper Dessin praise its good pigment bonding property that enables the pigment to stick to the paper. The spiral bound sketch pads are available in A2 to A6 format. The larger formats are suitable for drawings of all types. The new “pocket” A6 format is especially suitable for capturing impressions whilst travelling.
