Hahnemühle presents two pastel pads as an exciting special offer: they comprise high-end mould-made Bugra paper in two colour assortments. The Hahnemühle Bugra papers, named after the “BUch- und GRAfikmesse” (Book and Graphics
trade fair) in Leipzig in the 1920s, are a synonym for premium paper quality produced using traditional techniques.
Available in both delicate and robust colours suitable for pastel painting, the papers are ideal for paintings rich in contrast. The high quality mould-made Bugra paper is produced using traditional papermaking techniques on a cylinder mould machine. This gives the paper a distinctive toothy surface texture that ensures good colour adherence, especially important for pastels. The mould-made Bugra paper also offers good pigment adhesion.
The Bugra pastel pads are available in both A4 and A3 format each comprising two sets of attractive assorted colours. One selection contains 4 sheets each in the colours yellowish, grey, blue, white, brown and dark red. The second assortment contains eight sheets each in the colours bright white, white and yellowish.
