Market leader for traditional and digital FineArt papers re-launches its website with a consistent product and service focus.
Fresh, informative, easy to navigate and simply inspirational – this is the new look Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH website. The market leader for traditional and digital FineArt papers has completely revamped its website. Artists, specialist dealers, or simply anyone who is creative and interested can access information about paper produced by the oldest German artist paper mill. The website provides comprehensive information on how the papers are produced, treated and their numerous applications as well as news items, special offers or useful additional information.
Four animated keywords - tradition, quality, competence and innovation – introduce the Hahnemühle papers on the homepage of the website www.hahnemuehle.com. All three product lines, Traditonal FineArt, Digital FineArt and Special Papers are visible at a glance and can be accessed with a click. In addition a news ticker continuously flags up the latest news items and further links.
“By retaining the focus on our products and their applications we have designed an attractive and informative website. The site provides customers, specialist dealers or simply enquiring creative people with all the information they require about high quality papers for traditional and digital applications produced by Hahnemühle”, explained Jörg Adomat, Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH managing director.
A navigation bar displaying all the pull down menus available - “About us”, “Products”, “News”, “Creative & Informative”, “Trade Fairs and Events” and “Contact” helps the visitor access information easily. The lavishly designed pages present everything worth knowing and seeing from the oldest established German paper mill – for example a richly illustrated tour through the paper production at a mouse click.
All the products are clearly described in words and pictures and the corresponding specifications of each paper easily referred to. Completely new photographs visualize the beauty and structure of the paper surfaces.
All users of Hahnemühle papers can also access lots of additional information.
A so-called application matrix is available for traditional painting papers and boards. The matrix chooses from amongst 56 papers and matches the most suitable paper to correspond to the painting technique. Painting and printing techniques are explained in detail for beginners – from watercolor painting through to etching.
Internet users can download color management profiles for the Hahnemühle digital FineArt papers. These profiles enable users to achieve the best print results on printers working with pigmented inks. Data sheets listing important product features are also available for all 22 different inkjet papers.
A new feature of the revamped Hahnemühle website is the reference gallery.
It presents the works of artists who have worked closely with Hahnemühle for many years. Take a stimulating virtual stroll through the gallery and view paintings, collages, digital FineArt prints or FineArt photo prints all captured on Hahnemühle papers.
“The re-launched website has been designed with not only the customer and specialist dealer in mind but also industrial partners who need special papers for their production processes or products”, announced Norbert Klinke, sales and marketing manager at Hahnemühle, adding: “In the digital era we provide the quickest possible information on our papers to everybody”. The new website provides customers with a search facility using postcodes to locate the nearest outlet for artist products, purchasers of Hahnemühle special papers can access information regarding production capacity at Hahnemühle. And as of 2006 a protected password area for specialist dealers will round off the redesigned Hahnemühle website. Here specialist dealers can access information on special offers or order online.
Hahnemühle’s website is currently available in English with a French and Spanish version in the pipeline.
