Hahnemuehle Digital FineArt Paper at EPSON PiezoGraph Media Collection 2005 TOKYO

The EPSON PiezoGraph exhibition at AXIS Galery in Tokyo was introducing
a wide range of media (paper) which represents a vital role in PiezoGraph production. Beside the EPSON papers the exhibition has shown exclusively
the TIPA awarded new quality White Etching Satin of the Hahnemuehle Digital FineArt Collection. On display was a piece of “cut and pasted paper” made by
the famous artist Chieko Takamura printed on White Etching Satin. White Etching Satin 270 gsm has a soft surface structure with silky matt gloss. The paper impresses with its “satin” or “luster” look where there is a printed image yet remains matte on the perimeters. This paper is predestined for photography or reproductions of oil and acrylic paintings because the typical glossy shine of the original appears also on the printed image. This piece was accompanied by PiezoGraph works by students and artists in various areas of graphic arts.
