Lumijet, a highly recognized and respected inkjet media brand, has been upgraded with six new media types and a new price structure that makes it extraordinarily more affordable and competitive with other brands of inkjet papers.
These six new media types are joined with four grades previously in the Lumijet range. The new range, designated as Lumijet Ink Jet Media, consists of a total of ten media types available in all popular cut sheet sizes. Several of the papers removed from the Lumijet range, are available in the Hahnemuhle Fine Art range of ink jet media.
The new Lumijet range is designed to specifically attract a broad range of digital image makers from artists, designers, professional photographers as well as hobbyists and students. The range continues the Hahnemuhle brand’s tradition of excellence and commitment to innovative high quality products that meet the ever changing requirements of a broad spectrum of digital imaging applications. Now, digital image makers can expect a trimmed-down, need-specific product line at very attractive prices.
The new product lineup is as follows:
- Photo White 270gsm is a beautiful art paper with a smooth, bright-white base that adds brilliance and color dynamics to any digital project.
- Photo White Satin 280gsm has a technically advanced ink receptive coating that produces a surface with a delicate luster that achieves a new level of luminosity.
- White Velvet 270gsm has the tactile feel of fine velvet fabric with a slight texture that puts it in a class of its own. This is a media that is worthy of the finest digital images.
- Photo Art 200gsm has a very smooth surface with a natural white base. This paper is ideal for photographic, fine art reproductions or other demanding digital images.
- Genuine Pearl II 255gsm is a micro-porous ink jet paper reminiscent of a traditional photographic RC pearl finish. This paper is excellent for color or monochrome images providing excellent color saturation and image sharpness.
- Ultra Gloss II 255gsm is a highly polished micro-porous ink jet paper that yields outstanding color brilliance and maximum image sharpness. Very reminiscent of a traditional photographic RC gloss finish.
- Masters Canvas 350gsm is an instant dry, cotton blend fine art canvas that has a defined texture with superb color saturation and image quality.
- Museum Parchment 210gsm texture is reminiscent of finely crafted parchment. This paper creates a unique look to both color and monochrome digital images.
- Matte Two Sides 185gsm has a smooth, bright white matte surface ideally suited for any image. This paper is coated both sides making it perfect for portfolio and presentation.
- Glossy Two Sides 265gsm has a glossy smooth white surface that is excellent for color or monochrome images. This paper is coated on both sides making it ideal for portfolio and presentation.
The new range will be debuted at PMA in February and should be on store shelves by mid-April.
