Hahnemühle showcased two new products at 4 trade shows on 3 continents. The new products were favorably received by the photographers and will be available from mid November in the common sheet and roll sizes.
Bamboo 290 is the first FineArt inkjet paper to be made of approx 90% highly renewable bamboo fibres, thereby helping to conserve valuable resources. Its natural white tone makes it particularly suitable for warm-hued colors. The paper’s wide colour gamut and extreme colour density ensures detailed fine art prints with a 3 dimensional image sharpness. Hahnemühle will donate a fixed amount – depending on product size - from the sale of each Bamboo paper product towards environmental projects. Until the end of this year everyone has the opportunity to propose a project on the website www.green-rooster.com. Voting on the selected projects will begin February 1st and run through the end of 2008. The amount donated will be divided accordingly between the chosen projects.
The eagerly anticipated FineArt Baryta 325 paper with its unique glossy baryta surface similar to baryta paper makes it ideal for brilliant black and white prints with the finest grey nuances and also for luminous colour photographs. This paper is a worthy replacement for the legendary baryta paper from analogue laboratories and also possesses the exquisite touch and feel, the 4th dimension typical for Hahnemühle papers. As with all other products in the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection these two new products are also extremely age resistant.
