The Hahnemühle Art Print papers are digital fine art papers designed to be used at home. The ArtPrint line was developed in the summer of 2004, specifically
for the ambitious hobby painter and amateur photographer. These high-quality papers are optimal for printing of artworks and photographs using a home computer and inkjet printer. Anyone with a home computer, printer, and a little creativity can now use new digital technologies to create unique, modern printouts. The ArtPrint series papers are perfectly suited for reproducing traditional paintings or collages which have been transferred to the digital medium by scanning. For example, watercolor paintings can be used to create
an individual series of postcards, printed on watercolor paper for inkjet printing.
The finished product has the look and feel of the original; in fact, it is sometimes difficult to tell the reproduction from the original. The various surfaces of papers in the ArtPrint series also enable the printing of perfect-quality digital photographs. The ArtPrint series consists of five unique papers: watercolor
and pastel papers, two types of photographic paper and a real Canvas paper.
