|Description||“Lockdown' is a digital artwork mounted on Plexiglass. It was created in April 2020 in the midst of a self-imposed lockdown and prolonged isolation. The piece intends to express the challenges we faced during the first months of the coronavirus pandemic. From the balcony of my apartment, I see images reflected on and passing through the glass window. A rug from inside the apartment, water from the bay, the sunny skies of Miami, mansions and trees from La Gorce Island, and the promenade-like tiles of the balcony. From an ordinary photograph taken to freeze a moment, I realized that the uncertainties of a highly instable and historical time need not to be black and white or upside-down, but transformed into a world of positive, uplifting and colorful spirits." — Sergio Cesario The Art Piece (printed on acrylic / plexiglass) and the certificate (printed on Hahnemüle paper with watermark) are each certified through a hologram carrying a unique number. This Fine Art print is part of a Limited-Edition Series of 5 (five) prints hand-signed by the artist. ©2021 Sergio Cesario — This Limited Edition 15" x 15" (COA # 342101) 1 of 5 was released on September 5th, 2021.
