| Description | See http://www.ThornDulkaFineArt.com for limited edition Giclees. The big-eyed yellow fish is a Damselfish. This unique perspective is quite dramatic and oversized for such a small fish (actual size approximately 2 in.) The Columbine flower is also very small; it is about the size of the Damselfish. Through the years, I have created many fish and sea life drawings. I continue to be intrigued with their colors and shapes. The sea, rich in symbolism, represents life, power, mystery and the tears of God. Sea life that inhabit its waters are among the most fascinating of all creatures. The fish is a Christian symbol of the early Church. It also represents the miracle of the loaves and the fishes. The Columbine flower represents the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit; wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. 23k (original artwork only) surrounds these larger than life images.
