Available only to those using Hahnemühle Certificates of Authenticity, it allows artists to register their pieces, creating a tamper-proof connection between the artist and the artwork. Each certificate features a unique hologram that links directly to the digital record, enhancing transparency and reducing the risk of forgery.
The My Art Registry interface offers an easy-to-use system for artists to securely archive their work and provide buyers with reliable provenance verification. By integrating the Certificate of Authenticity, this service adds an extra layer of trust, boosting the credibility of the artwork in the art market. Whether for emerging or established artists, My Art Registry helps protect and preserve the legacy of original art for generations to come.
The ‘My Art Registry’-website is divided into two sections:
In the public area you will find all registered works - available for artists and collectors. Recently uploaded images are displayed first. You can search by artist, artwork title or certificate number. The administrative area is for artists who want to register their artwork. To manage the works of art, a free registration is required.

Werkgröße: 51 × 66 cm Edition 1/7 + 2 AP · 2025 · Karlheinz Wachsenegger Dieses Werk zeigt das Porträt von Christian Kow Rhule, aufgenommen 2024 in Calabar, Nigeria. Christian war Ausbildner im „Mechanical Sheet Workshop“ im Ausbildungszentrum der HIFA (Hilfe für Alle) am St. Patrick’s College – ein Mann mit Haltung, Stärke und tiefer Verantwortung. Das Kunstwerk ist nicht nur ein Abbild, sondern ein visuelles Denkmal für einen Menschen, der zeitlebens anderen eine Zukunft ermöglichte, während ihm selbst kaum Sicherheiten vergönnt waren. Die Komposition – ein zentrales, vergrößertes Porträtsegment auf einem aus Einzelblättern zusammengesetzten Hintergrund – verweist auf die Fragmentierung und Zerrissenheit von Christians Biografie: seine Herkunft aus Ghana, sein Wirken in Nigeria, sein Leben zwischen Engagement und Entbehrung. Die sichtbaren Nähte aus 1 mm starkem Leinengarn, die die Bildflächen durchziehen, symbolisieren sowohl Stabilität als auch Brüche, Halt und Begrenzung zugleich. Christian hatte den Wunsch, in seine Heimat Elmina in Ghana zurückzukehren. Doch dieser letzte Wunsch blieb unerfüllt – er starb fern seiner Wurzeln. Die vom Künstler bewusst gewählte Materialität – die metallische Oberfläche, das strukturierte Aquarellpapier, die bewusste Rahmung – verleiht dem Bild eine materielle Schwere, die die emotionale Tragweite seiner Geschichte unterstreicht. Dieses Porträt ist ein stilles Zeugnis für Menschlichkeit, Würde und das Vermächtnis eines Lebens im Dienst an anderen. |
