Like the German Hahnemühle, the French Lana is one of the oldest and most traditional European paper brands. The name Lana comes from the Vosges Mountains, where the paper mill was founded in 1590 near the Gallo-Roman settlement of Villa Lana.
In 2007, the company LANA Papiers Spéciaux was founded. Since then Hahnemühle FineArt GmbH has been the brand owner for the worldwide distribution of Lana artists' papers. We rely on our traditional as well as innovative know-how, our experience and strengths from the development, production and distribution of finest papers for more than four centuries.
All Lana artist papers are available in unchanged quality and the Lana artist paper range is still available.
